2 Samuel 22:3 ~ “…My God is my ROCK, in whom I take refuge...”

We are still in awe over our Winter Camp Experience; where we were given the opportunity to send and accompany 9 kids from our community to the amazing Forest Home Winter Camp located in Forest Falls (REFER TO LAST POST FOR MAJOR DETAILS & PHOTOS).

One of the many incredible aspects of camp involved a hike – during this hike, the campers and counselors began to notice a pattern in the rocks as they journeyed along the trail. This was not just any pattern, but a pattern of the Word of God. Some campers began to read scriptures off the rocks as they hiked, making the hike much more special.

✢ Rock One: “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over them, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” 1 John 4:4

✢ Rock Two: “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

✢ Rock Three: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5
