Human trafficking is a $150-billion global industry that exploits vulnerable individuals for profit, stripping victims of their identity, dignity, and autonomy. While often perceived as a distant issue, California reports the highest number of human trafficking cases in the United States and ranks sixth nationally on a per-capita basis (World Population Review).

This is a prerequisite course to participate in Street Outreach. Participants will be equipped to become more effective with this vulnerable population. The goal of this training is to educate people on how to effectively support women in the sex industry, survivors of trafficking, & those caught in this dark cycle of sexual exploitation. The training meets once per week for three weeks.

Course content centers on healing, restoration, and survivor-centered care. Volunteers gain foundational knowledge in anti-trafficking efforts and learn how to walk alongside survivors throughout the healing process.

Additionally, the training encourages personal reflection, helping participants identify areas of healing in their own lives. This holistic approach strengthens our capacity to serve the community as compassionate, resilient leaders. The training is open to volunteers and ministry partners.
